Slate is a simple app for translating and viewing dictionary articles between two languages - Russian and English. It provides detailed and smart articles with synonyms and usage examples. In addition, Slate finds and shows popular images for words and phrases which you translate to make it easier to remember the words. Slate saves all the dictionary articles on the device and makes them available and searchable even when you're offline. Notable features: - detailed dictionary articles with transcription, synonyms, meanings and examples; - text translation for phrases for which there's no dictionary article; - images for translated words (optional: enabled, enabled on Wi-Fi only, disabled); - user-defined words lists for better organization; - learn your words with flashcards! - quck article-to-article navigation by touching words in article text; - simple and minimalistic user interface; - translations history of unlimited size; - saving translations, which have been once fetched, for quick offline access; The app is created on educational purposes and will be well maintained and developed.
